How ToCreate Listing Promo Videos

INTRODUCTION

Rela's Video Maker makes is quick and easy to create engaging listing videos right from your dashboard. You can create videos in different sizes, include custom text and shapes with animations, and even automatically generate an unbranded version of your video! Once you've finished editing your video, you can download and share across your social networks like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat to increase exposure and engagement for your listings.

To get started, click the Video Maker link in the Property Edit menu.

Getting Started

The video editor allows you to create videos in different aspect ratios so that you can share across different social networks. When you first create the video, you'll be prompted to choose a size. You'll have 3 different options: Standard (16:9), Square (1:1), and Vertical (9:16).

ADDING SLIDES

To add slides to your video, click the Add Slides button in the top toolbar. Once you've added a slide, you'll be able to add custom text, shapes, property images, headshots, and logos. All of these elements (layers) can have custom animations as well. There are two different slide types that you can add.

• Image Slide -When you add an image slide, the image will be set as the background of the slide and will be randomly assigned an animation effect (you can change this effect from the Clip Settings toolbar). Image slides are a good choice if you want to quickly create Ken Burns style slideshow. You'll also be able to add custom layers to each Image slide.
  
  
• Blank Slide are great if you want to create a multi-image slide, or if you want to create a intro/outro slide. You can customize the background color of blank slides as well.

WORKING WITH LAYERS

Layers allow you to add custom details to each slide. You can add property images, shapes & icons, headshots, logos, text, even video clips. Each layer has custom properties such as color, animation, font (for text layers), and layer position. To add a custom layer, click the Add Layers to Slide button in the top toolbar:

OVERLAY LAYERS

Overlay layers allow to display a custom layer on all of the slides in your video. This is very useful if you'd like to show a persistent title bar displaying your listing's address, price, and your logo. To enable this option, just click the Apply Element to All Slide checkbox in the layer's toolbox. When check this option, you'll see an option to set that as an Overlay (best for text and logos) or Underlay (best for background shapes).

When you make a change to an overlay or underlay layer, that change will be updated on all of the slides in your video.

ADDING Listing Agent & Logo

Adding your logo, headshot, and contact information is easy. From the Add Layers panel, click the Agent Info or Logo option. Click the agent and/or logo from the available options to add to your video.

CREATING UNBRANDED VIDEOS: Make sure to tag the contact info and logos as Hide from Unbranded so that you can export an unbranded version of your video.

ADDING MUSIC

You can add music to your video by clicking the Add Music in the top toolbar. Select any track from the list that is presented. Once you've a music track to your video, you'll see the track name in the upper toolbar. Hover over the music button to preview. You can remove or change music tracks at any time.

WORKING WITH TEMPLATES

Our real estate video templates make it quick and easy to add a predesigned layout to your video. Click on the Templates button in the top toolbar to open to the template library. You can browse through the designs and even preview the animations that come along with each layout. Once you find a design that you like, click the preview to apply it to your current slide. Any property-specific content (like address, beds & baths, price, etc.) will be replaced with your listings content.

Once you've applied a template design to your slide, you can make any customizations needed. If you mess up, you can always re-apply the base template to start from scratch!

VIDEO LENGTH AND SLIDE TIMING

By default, each slide in the video will be set to a 5-second duration. You can adjust this by clicking the duration toolbar above the slide grid. The total video length can be up to 90 seconds in total length, so you can adjust the slide duration to increase or decrease the number of slides allowed in your video.

PREVIEWING YOUR VIDEO

You can preview your video to see what your final video will look like. Video previews will render in Standard Definition, so don't worry if the quality looks lower than expected, the final video will be downloaded in HD. To preview your video, click the Play Preview button in the upper right corner. You'll have the option to preview both the branded and unbranded version of your video. Please note: If you haven't tagged any of your layers or slides as Hide from Unbranded, there won't be an unbranded video to preview.

DOWNLOADING YOUR VIDEO

Once you're done making changes and you've previewed your video to ensure everything looks good, you can download the HD version of the video. Just click the Download HD button in the upper right toolbar.

Once your video has finished rendering you'll be able to download the MP4 file to your computer. If you'd like to download the final video to your phone, click the Send to Phone button in the toolbar to show the QR code. Use your phone's camera to scan the code and download the video.

You can also attach your new video to your Rela single property website by clicking the Publish to Property button in the top toolbar. Choose the position and visibility, and you're set! Once you've published to your single property website, the video will need a few more minutes to process for streaming.
